About our awning & slide-out repair service
Slide-out rooms are heavy, and every mechanism that moves them — electric rack and pinion, cable, Schwintek in-wall, or hydraulic — depends on correct adjustment and healthy power. When a room binds, drifts out of square, groans, or stops halfway, the underlying cause is usually a low battery, a failed motor or controller, a worn roller, a broken cable, or a mechanism that has fallen out of sync. We diagnose the specific system in your rig rather than forcing it and hoping.
Seal and gasket work is the other half of slide-out care. Wipe seals and bulb seals compress and crack in Florida sun, and once they stop sealing the room becomes a water entry point. We inspect, clean, condition and replace seals, adjust the room for even contact, and lubricate the mechanism with the right product — not the wrong spray that attracts grit and accelerates wear.
Awnings take the worst of the weather. We repair and replace fabric, fix bent or damaged arms, service motors and gearboxes on power awnings, repair or replace spring assemblies on manual units, and correct roll and pitch so water sheds instead of pooling. Wind damage is common here, and a partial repair is often possible when the roller tube itself is straight.
Leveling systems round out this category. Hydraulic and electric jacks that will not retract, uneven auto-leveling, controller errors and leaking cylinders are all diagnosed on site so you are not stuck in place waiting for a tow.
